Finishing a university degree is a monumental achievement that deserves recognition. Knowing this, a local University contacted Sidestage to design and deliver a temporary banner support structures along the campus' central pedestrian walkway.

Knowing that the alternative was a bulky, unattractive structure built from traditional scaffolding our team proposed a solution built with Global Truss.

The primary arch stood 9 metres wide and 5 metres tall, showcasing a custom banner whilst also acting as a ceremonial "exit" from the students' time at University.

In total, we deployed over 120 metres of Global Truss across three locations, using a combination of F45, F44, and F43 components.

The modular nature of Global Truss meant the arches could be made the perfect length and the lightweight aluminium alloy used meant that minimal ballasting was required.

Installation was managed by our team of qualified riggers, who ensured all archways were safely assembled, aligned, and anchored to withstand outdoor conditions.

The result was a clean, polished setup that enhanced the tone of the celebration and served as a central visual feature for event photography.
