Our brand-new warehouse recently came to life in a big way, hosting Sidestage’s very first internal Industry Night, an evening built around growth, experimentation, and connection.

20 of our crew came together to explore lighting technology hands-on, diving deeper into their foundational skills and pushing their expertise further. Whether brushing up on patching fundamentals or experimenting with complex cue stacks, the space buzzed with energy and curiosity.

Real World Lighting Practice

Staff spent the evening working with both MA2 and Jands consoles, practising programming workflows, fixture control, and scene transitions in a relaxed, collaborative setting.

A Focus on Knowledge Sharing

These sessions are all about raising the bar. Whether someone’s new to the tools or seasoned in the booth, the night gave everyone the chance to learn something new – and help someone else along the way.

Investing in Our People

At Sidestage, we believe great events start with a great team. That’s why we host these training nights bi-monthly, to ensure our crew are not just gear-smart, but confident, capable, and connected.

A Space for Team Culture

Beyond the tech, these nights are a chance to catch up, swap stories, and share ideas.

In a fast-paced industry, they help build the relationships that keep show days smooth and spirits high.

We’re proud to be growing a crew that’s not only technically skilled but genuinely passionate about what they do.

Our new warehouse isn’t just a home for equipment, it’s a hub for development, camaraderie, and big ideas.
